The premise

A network gone dark

“The gates went dark years ago, and the routes between the stars snapped with them.”

Chief Orsa Malik, Ferravans Yard chief

Now something is stirring at the Farwake, the old hub, and every civilisation will race for it.

You command a fleet and an outpost at the edge of the shattered navigation network, in the service of one of three civilisations. You choose once. The choice can never change.

Choose who you serve

Three civilisations are racing for the Farwake, and each one fights its own way. Pick one to see it up close; this page takes on its colours.

In the game, this choice is permanent.

How it plays

It keeps going while you are away

Farwake is text-led and idle at heart. You set the course, refit the fleet and read the reports. Your outpost and your ships do the rest.

  • Command

    Your outpost keeps working

Your base gathers ore, fuel and credits on its own, even while the app is closed, up to an away-time cap and the limits of your storage. Construction, crafting and research keep counting down too.

  • Fleet

    Battles resolve themselves

Fights play out automatically, so the thinking happens before launch. Energy damage is strong against shields; kinetic damage is strong against bare hulls but blunted by armour. Lose, and the battle report tells you why.

  • Expeditions

    Push into the sectors

Send the fleet on expeditions sector by sector, starting with the Kessit Shoals, and face the sector bosses waiting out there.

  • Workshop and Research

    Build for the next fight

Craft modules in the Workshop and unlock Research. Change a module and the mission preview shows how your odds move.

Expeditions

Beyond the dark gates

Your fleet works its way out one sector at a time. The first stop is the Kessit Shoals. Further out, sector bosses are waiting.

  • A shattered gate ring drifting among wreckage in a dark nebula.
  • Lit beacon towers standing on floating rocks in a dusty nebula.
  • A derelict spherical station ringed by gate arches, adrift among asteroids.
  • Broken ring segments and wrecks circling a dim red star.

What waits out there

  • Gate Titan: a colossal stone-plated figure with a ring on its shoulders and a round shield.
    The FarwakeGate Titan
  • Relay Colossus: a vast wheel-shaped station crusted with ice.
Boss of the Drowned RelayRelay Colossus
  • Void Corsair: an angular, battle-scarred raider ship.
