Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy explains what the Farwake game for iPhone and Android collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
1. Who we are
Farwake is published by KD Incubator UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schönensche Str. 13, 10439 Berlin, Germany. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
Contact for anything about privacy: office@kdincubator.com.

3. What we collect and why
Your game account
The first time you open Farwake, we create a game account for you automatically through Firebase Authentication (Google). It has a random player ID and no name or email address.
- Sign in with Apple (optional): we receive an Apple user identifier. We don’t ask Apple for your name or email address.
- Sign in with Google (optional): we receive your Google account ID, email address, name and profile photo URL.
We use this to keep your progress and purchases safe and to restore them when you sign in on a new device.
Game data
We store the following in Cloud Firestore and process it with Cloud Functions (Google, United States region):
- your game save for each faction you play;
- your gem balance (the in-game currency), unlocked factions and active passes;
- your purchase history, as store transaction IDs;
- how many ad rewards you have collected each day;
- your device’s time-zone offset, so daily rewards reset at your local midnight;
- records of the automatic checks we run on uploaded saves to detect cheating.
We use this to provide the game and to prevent cheating and fraud.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle the payment. We never see your card or bank details. To confirm a purchase, RevenueCat receives your player ID and the store’s purchase receipt, and tells our server which items to deliver.
Advertising
Farwake offers optional rewarded video ads, served by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, AdMob may collect:
- your device’s advertising ID (on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android, the Android Advertising ID);
- your IP address;
- device and app information;
- how you interact with the ad.
AdMob may show personalised ads only where you have consented. We send AdMob your player ID and a one-time code so that AdMob can confirm to our server that you watched the ad and we can grant the reward.
At launch, Google AdMob is the only ad network in Farwake. If we add other networks through AdMob mediation (for example Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads or Liftoff), we will name them in this policy.
Consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent to personalised ads through Google’s User Messaging Platform. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt may also be shown. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings in the game.
Notifications
Farwake uses local notifications only, for example to tell you that your storage is full. They are scheduled on your device. We don’t use a push notification service, and no notification data is sent to us.
4. What we don’t collect
- No precise location, contacts, photos or microphone access.
- No analytics or crash-reporting tools. If we add one, we will update this policy first.
5. Legal bases
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): your account, game data and purchases, so we can provide the game you asked for.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): cheat and fraud prevention and keeping the service secure. Our interest is a fair game and a working service.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): personalised ads and tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time in the game’s privacy settings.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): keeping purchase records where tax or accounting law requires it.
6. Who processes your data
We share data only with the providers we need to run Farwake. They process it for us or as independent controllers under their own terms:
- Google: Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions (hosting and game services), AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (ads and consent), Sign in with Google and Google Play.
- Apple: the App Store and Sign in with Apple.
- RevenueCat: purchase verification.
- Any additional ad networks we add, which we will list above.
We don’t sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Game data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States, and some of our providers are based there. Transfers of personal data from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep data
- Account and game data are kept for as long as your account exists.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its game data within 30 days. See Delete your Farwake account.
- Purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it (in Germany, generally up to 10 years).
- Data held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat as independent controllers follows their own retention rules.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- have your data deleted;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before.
To use any of these rights, email office@kdincubator.com and include your player ID, which is shown in the game. We may ask for more information to confirm the account is yours.
You can also complain to a data-protection authority, either where you live or the one responsible for us: the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
10. California residents
If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
- We don’t sell personal information.
- “Sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising happens only through the ad networks described above, when ads are shown. You can refuse it in the game’s consent settings or by turning off ad personalisation or tracking in your device settings.
- To make a request, email office@kdincubator.com.
11. Children
Farwake is not directed at children under 13. In countries of the EEA where local law sets a higher age for consenting to online services (up to 16, for example in Germany), players under that age need a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used Farwake without permission, email office@kdincubator.com with the player ID shown in the game, and we will delete the account and its data.
12. Security
Data travels between the game and our providers over encrypted connections and is stored with Google Cloud. Access to the game backend is limited to what is needed to run the service.
13. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the game or our providers change, for example if we add an ad network. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the game.
Questions or requests: office@kdincubator.com, or by post to KD Incubator UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schönensche Str. 13, 10439 Berlin, Germany.
